The Spring Creek Ranch experience is about the natural beauty of the land that makes up our unique golf course. These thousand acres were once a thriving cattle ranch, and almost all of its original terrain has been preserved in our Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Whether it’s the challenge of the double fairway on the third hole, or the meticulously manicured grounds around you, playing Spring Creek Ranch grants a sense of profound satisfaction for those who enjoy golf.
Our course is naturally beautiful, but it’s also meticulously maintained. Our superintendent and staff of 30 maintain the highest level of playability with their unexcelled expertise. We strive to keep Spring Creek Ranch in tournament condition all year round, not just for special events. The entire course is sand-plated under the turf for ideal water drainage. Even after a morning downpour, we’re frequently off the paths that same afternoon.
In addition to the turf conditions, the solitude is unparalleled. We are a member of the Audubon Conservation Preserve, with approximately 320 acres devoted to preserving the wetlands, wildlife habitat and surrounding ecosystems. You will not encounter power lines or hear trains. There are few houses visible from the course. There are no tee times. On some days, you may never see another golfer throughout your round, but our staff is always accessible and ready to assist you wherever you are on the grounds. Every detail has been attended to so you can focus on your game in the most gratifying conditions.
Jack Nicklaus designed the course himself to challenge golfers and frame the awe-inspiring land, making Spring Creek Ranch as much about the game as it is a golfer’s destination. Golf Digest ranks Spring Creek Ranch second among all golf courses in Tennessee, and there is no other course like it anywhere. Jack once said it was the best course he ever designed without an ocean view. It’s no wonder many of our members choose to walk the 6-mile course and soak in the surroundings.
