It was on a trip in the great outdoors that Dr. David Meyer and Jack Nicklaus struck up a friendship that resulted in Jack coming out to see the piece of land known as Spring Creek Ranch. Mr. Nicklaus was impressed with Dr. Meyer’s vision of a golf experience founded on pure nature. Since Jack shared this passion for nature married with the challenge of golf, he enthusiastically agreed to make 320 acres one of the most coveted golf courses for hundreds of miles. Spring Creek Ranch has always been a family-owned and -operated golf club, buying back 100% ownership in 2010 and marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our history.
